Besides, 87 stocks hit their upper circuit limits, and 58 touched their lower circuit bands on Thursday. NSE-listed firms' market capitalisation stood at ₹453.97 lakh crore at the end of the session. Adani Enterprises was the top contributor, gaining 2.9%, followed by Shriram Finance (2.55%), NTPC (1.8%), Axis Bank (1.64%) and Eternal (1.22%). On the flip side, Bajaj Auto took the lead among losers, falling 1.35%. Infosys (-1.33%), Eicher Motors (-1.14%), Titan (-1.12%) and SBI Life Insurance (-1.1%) were the other laggards on the 50-share index.
