Tata Steel was followed by Hindalco Industries (3.02%), JSW Steel (2.94%), Coal India (2.45%), and IndusInd Bank (2.21%), which were among the top gainers on Wednesday. On the other hand, shares of Infosys settled 1.25% lower at ₹1,480 apiece. The IT major was the biggest loser on the index. The other notable losers included Nestlé India (-0.72%), HDFC Life Insurance Company (-0.70%), Wipro (-0.55%), and NTPC (-0.54%).
