IIFL Finance shares soar 3% as board approves issuance of NCDs worth ₹600 crore

IIFL Finance will issue 600 NCDs up to ₹600 crore, it said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday. Its shares surged 3.49% over the previous week and 11.82% since the beginning of June. Shares of IIFL Finance rose 2.79% to an intra-day high of ₹ 494.75 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, June 11, a day after its board of directors approved raising up to ₹600 crore via issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The NBFC will issue up to 600 “unsecured, subordinated, listed, rated, redeemable non-convertible debentures” on a private placement basis, IIFL said in a regulatory filing dated June 10. The stock of IIFL Finance, along with Manappuram Finance and Muthoot Finance, has been in focus since the Reserve Bank announced an increase in the loan-to-value (LTV) ratio for gold loans up to ₹2.5 lakh from 75% to 85%, including interest. IIFL Finance March quarter results The NBFC declared a sharp 76.7% (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹38.4 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, compared to ₹165 crore in the year-ago period. Its net interest income (NII) stood at ₹546.6 crore in the quarter under review, slipping 40% YoY from ₹913 crore in the March quarter of FY24. IIFL Finance’s total income fell 36% YoY to ₹546.5 crore in Q4FY25. IIFL Finance stock performance IIFL Finance’s shares have surged 8.15% since Monday. The stock was up 3.49% over the previous week and 11.82% since the beginning of June. Over the past two months, the share has surged 49.44%. It has risen 18.33% on a year-to-date basis. The stock reached its 52-week high of ₹560.60 on September 20, 2024, and a low of ₹279.80 on March 4, 2025. At around 11:09 am, the share was trading 1.62% higher at ₹489.10, outperforming the NIFTY50 index, which was up 0.3%. IIFL Finance has a total market capitalisation of ₹20,796.89 crore, as of June 11, 2025, on the NSE.
